Since March, I’ve pretty much hunkered down with my little family and been very busy juggling a lot of new responsibilities as semi-homeschool teacher, snack butler, Zoom scheduler, etc. While being available and present with my kids during these crazy times is uber important to me, it has also taken away 99% of the free time I used to have (which was very little to begin with!). Social interaction with friends has been limited and even though I lean more as an introvert, I do miss my girlfriends!
So! I decided to take a free moment and do something fun and festive! Because I miss my gal pals, I created these Halloween note cards that I will mail to let them know I’m thinking of them. I mean, who doesn’t like getting a surprise letter in the mail?! And who doesn’t love a cheesy pun?
For extra decorative fun, I used my Silhouette CAMEO to print and cut out cute ghosts. Then, placed a dimensional foam adhesive behind the ghost so that it “popped” off the card. Aren’t they so cute??
If you want to send these fun note cards to your ghoulfriends, you can! Download these free printables by clicking the buttons below. Each sheet has two 5in x 7in cards.
For the dimensional embellishment, the design is ID#302841 from the Silhouette Design Store. It’s actually a doodlebat (aka font) so there is a bit of work required to make it into a print-and-cut element. Essentially, you need to remove all cut lines, then trace the ghost shape to get an outline, and finally then click on the outline and set that to cut. Print-and-cut requires registration marks so be sure to turn those on first so that your CAMEO knows to print first, then cut.
And if you don’t have a die-cutting machine, no sweat! You can also use any cute, I mean, spooky stickers!
