It’s been a bit of dry winter here in Southern California and I am kind of wishing for some rain. I wish we had distinct seasons here but I won’t complain much more as natural vitamin D is also good for the body.
Whenever it does rain, my kids and I love searching for rainbows. We’ve gotten lucky and have seen some double rainbows too! Have you? It’s quite spectacular!
Rainbows were the inspiration behind this papercraft. I had made a faux boho woven wall hanging a few years ago and wanted to see if I could use the same crafting concept but with a rainbow as the focal point. This was actually easier since the weaving pattern and paper strips were consistent.
This project is also great for using up any leftover scraps of paper. You can use traditional rainbow colors or your color palette, whatever you fancy! 🌈
