Ring in the New Year with Intention! Free “New Year, New Goals” Worksheet below!

This year, with my kids now older, I felt like we were capable of doing this exercise together as a family. We did these worksheets together during dinner. I’ve noticed my kids are less squirmy when they’re eating, anyone else?

All in all, this activity took probably an hour. We did the first three pages while eating and listening to background music. We went around and each of us shared our worksheet responses. I loved hearing my kids’ goals, some of which we expected but there a few that caught us by surprise or made us laugh. It was a good reminder that they’re still kids and that they can still surprise us with their unique thoughts and dreams! We wrapped up our time by choosing top 5 words on the Word of the Year page, reading some dictionary definitions, and letting them marinade for a day or so before selecting our words.

You can enjoy this exercise too, on your own, with a friend or family. This free printable was designed to help you define what you truly want to achieve in a thoughtful and actionable way. I hope it helps you as much as it’s helped me! Click on the button below to download.

P.S. Share your goals in the comments below – accountability is key!
