Is it me or did 2018 just fly by, especially the second half?! My son had just started kindergarten and it seem like last week I was sewing Halloween costumes. And now we’ve got Christmas commercials on TV and we haven’t had Thanksgiving yet! If you’re starting to feel a little overwhelmed about holiday shopping, I’m here to help with not one but two holiday gift guides! One for that crafty friend and the other for that creative kid. Save yourself some time and sanity and check out these most wished for gifts!

Today I am talking about That Crafty Friend, this list is broken down by price: $90 and up, under $50, and stocking stuffers. I’ll share why I picked these items below.

On Santa’s Uber Nice List:

  • Silhouette Cameo (link) – if you can’t already tell, this is my everything when it comes to crafting. This workhorse can cut over 100 materials, including paper, cardstock, heat transfer and adhesive vinyl, as well as fabric up to 12 inches wide. For me, as a busy mama, the Silhouette CAMEO has saved me time and from getting calluses (goodbye cutting circular or intricate cupcake toppers by hand)! Read more about why I love my Silhouette Cameo and why it’s not expensive.
  • Speedball Screen Printing Kit (link) – Make your own custom apparel with this all-in-one kit that includes four colored inks and even a lamp!
  • Canon Ivy Wireless Printer (link) – Yes, you read that right…wireless! Using Bluetooth technology, this handheld printer produces vibrant 2″x3″ photos wherever you are! Love the color options too!
  • Akron Phone Stand (link) – I bet your crafty friend has tried more than once to record a video making a craft with one hand and holding their phone with the other. I know I have and it is nearly impossible! This tool is just what he/she needs to film those DIY project video tutorials!
  • 7-Drawer Storage Organizer (link) – I recently purchased this and can definitely say it is worth it! The shallower drawers makes it easy to find AND organize my craft supplies.

On Santa’s Nice List:

  • 3-tier Rolling Cart (link) – Your crafty friend could never have enough storage especially one on wheels so they can easily move it around in their craft space.
  • 2019 Planner (link) – Planning out future blog posts or marking down DIY workshops to attend is so much more fun in a pretty planner. Maybe I’m old school but I still use a weekly/monthly day planner!
  • Heat Embossing Tool (link) – This tool is a must-have for any crafter! Take projects up a notch with embossing or use it to shrink wrap. This starter kit includes embossing pens and powder.
  • Copic Markers (link) – $10 says your crafty friend has been eyeing these for a long time but hasn’t splurged on themselves. These double-ended refillable markers dry fast and produces beautiful colors, perfect for card crafts. There are a TON of colors so help your crafty friend start her Copic Markers collection!
  • 3D Pen (link) – 3D printers are all the rage now but can be super pricey! This much more affordable product can also create 3D art objects with the stroke of your hand.
  • Watercolor Brushes (link) – Watercolor brush lettering or painting can be mess-free with these brushes. You can even use it without water for dry-brush painting, sketching, coloring, or calligraphy.

Super Stocking Stuffers:

  • Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens (link) – I’ve been dabbling in brush lettering and these are the brush pens I use and that everyone recommends. I put them in my purse so that I can practice my lettering wherever I go! This 3-pack includes soft, hard, and twin tip markers.
  • Washi Tape (link) – Who doesn’t like washi tape?! These colorful paper tape rolls are great for adding a little color on envelopes or gift packaging. I even use it sometimes on my handmade cards!
  • Rifle Paper Co. Notebooks (link) – Every artist knows Rifle Paper Co. and their beautifully-designed products. This set of three stitched and lined notebooks feature gold foil accents.
  • Therm-o-Web Tape Runner (link) – Another must-have for any papercrafter! I stock up on these in bulk because I am using these ALL. THE. TIME! Easy to use…seriously, it glides so well and even around curved edges!

If you get anything on this list, that crafty friend of yours will be so stoked! 🙂  Be sure to stop by the blog tomorrow to see my gift ideas for that creative kid!
