Halloween DIY projects are in full swing and I am particularly excited about today’s post! I made matching t-shirts for my kids and my nephew because they’re still little and let me dress them. My kids actually love it when they match! 😅
I scoured the internet and didn’t find a design that I liked with the phrase I wanted so I do what a maker does…DIY! Perfect example of #makersgonnamake.
The main goal in the design was to make sure it was unisex. Many that I found were a tad too flourished. Another goal was to make it non-holiday specific so that the kiddos can wear it again come Valentine’s Day or Easter. On a side note, isn’t it insane how much candy is distributed and consumed from Halloween until Easter?!
Of course you can use different colored heat transfer vinyl if you wanted to be holiday-specific! I personally like to get multiple uses out of my projects if possible.
Anyways, I had a blast coming up with this design (my very first SVG file…ahhh!) and it’s now available on my Etsy shop as an Instant Download.
The ZIP file includes all three designs for the price of one!Once you download and unzip the file, you will see three designs in three different formats:
- “Will Trade Brother for Candy” design in .SVG, .DXF, .PNG with transparent background
- “Will Trade Sister for Candy” in .SVG, .DXF, .PNG with transparent background
- “Will Trade Cousin for Candy” in .SVG, .DXF, .PNG with transparent background
If you purchase this file…first of all, thank you (!!) and secondly, please tag me @studio_xtine, I’d love to see your awesome creation! 😄
