We are getting near the end of Holy Week with Easter a few days away. What are your Easter plans?

The other day at Costco, we somehow ended up with applewood smoked ham in our cart (dang you samples!!) and quickly realized we should probably invite some pals over for a casual Easter dinner…err, feels more like supper since we’re eating in the late afternoon because of our wee ones’ bedtimes.

So, since many of my friends liked the Thanksgiving activity placemat…how about another one for Easter? 🙂

This freebie [download here] is designed for a letter-size paper so that it can easily be printed at home. Keeping it easy peasy for parents, y’know? Each part is inspired by my son’s latest favorite activity so hopefully your kiddos will have a fun time too! And fingers crossed the parents get a little break and can enjoy a hot delicious Easter meal!

May you and your family experience the freedom and know the deepest love story that Easter is. And because music has always been a huge part of my life, here are lyrics from one of my favorite bands, Hillsong’s What a Beautiful Name:

Death could not hold you
The veil tore before You
You silence the boast of sin and grave
The heavens are roaring
The praise of Your glory
For You are raised to life again.
