Maybe it’s because I’m an only child, but I like marching to the beat of my own drum. Doing things a little differently and not worrying what others think. This perspective is incredibly helpful when it comes to creative projects. Anything goes when it comes to crafting!
I am in love with my latest guest blog post/project for Silhouette America. Once upon a time, I scrapbooked and made an album. Yup, just one album in all my years of papercrafting. It’s a beautiful way to save/share memories but for me, it’s time-consuming and can become costly. So, that got me thinking…what if I simplified the art of scrapbooking by creating singular pieces as hanging artwork? It surely would be more visible than meticulously-designed scrapbook pages in an album that’s sitting on a shelf.
On Silhouette’s blog, I am sharing a fun and unique way to create a “scrapbook page” on an embroidery hoop and the best part is that it can serve as living artwork…you can swap in another creation every so often. As for the previous design, you can create an album and save each one in a clear protective sheet. Check out my guest post!
